In some situations, a Tiger Sheds delivery may not be able to be completed as planned. This usually happens when the delivery location cannot be accessed safely or legally at the time of delivery.
This guide explains what happens next and how to avoid delivery issues.
Common reasons a delivery cannot be completed
A delivery may be unsuccessful if:
The delivery vehicle cannot stop safely at the address
Access is blocked by parked vehicles or road restrictions
The road is too narrow for the delivery vehicle
There are steps, steep slopes, gravel, or soft ground preventing safe unloading
No suitable kerbside space is available
Incorrect or incomplete delivery information was provided
For safety reasons, our drivers cannot unload if conditions are unsafe.
What happens on the day?
If the driver is unable to complete the delivery:
The driver will assess whether delivery can be completed safely
If delivery is not possible, the order will not be unloaded
The delivery will be recorded as unsuccessful
Our Customer Care Team will be notified
In most cases, the delivery will need to be rearranged.
What happens next?
Once an unsuccessful delivery has been reported:
Our Customer Care Team will contact you to discuss the issue
We may ask for additional access details or photographs
A new delivery date will be arranged where possible
Please note that a redelivery charge may apply if the delivery could not be completed due to access issues that were not previously disclosed.
How to avoid a failed delivery
To help ensure your delivery goes smoothly:
Check there is clear, legal kerbside access on your delivery day
Move vehicles away from the delivery area in advance
Consider neighbours’ parking and road width
Let us know in advance if there are access concerns, restrictions, or unusual conditions
If you are unsure whether your location is suitable, it is always best to contact us before delivery.
Need to discuss access before delivery?
If you have concerns about access, parking, or delivery conditions, please contact our Customer Care Team as soon as possible. We can advise you in advance and help prevent delays.
