Understanding How Your Delivery Date Is Booked
When you place an order with us for a product that comes with a "Pick-a-Week" delivery service, we want to make sure you understand how the delivery process works so you know what to expect.
What Is a "Week Commencing" Date?
At the time of purchase, you'll be given a provisional 'week commencing' date. This gives you a rough idea of when your delivery is planned to take place — for example, "week commencing 8th July". However, this is not your confirmed delivery date.
Why Is the Date Provisional?
The week commencing date helps us plan deliveries efficiently, but it can shift depending on route planning, product availability, and regional logistics. That means your actual delivery could happen:
- The week before your provisional date
- During your provisional week
- Or the week after
We aim to deliver within your selected week whenever possible, but it's not always guaranteed.
When Will I Get My Confirmed Delivery Date?
We will confirm your exact delivery date 5–7 days before the delivery takes place. If your provisional week is coming up and you haven’t heard from us yet, don’t worry — it’s likely your delivery date is still being finalised.
Once confirmed, you'll receive a communication (usually via SMS or email) with your delivery day and further tracking information.
Why Haven’t I Received a Confirmed Date Yet?
We understand it can be frustrating to wait for confirmation, but because we plan routes based on multiple deliveries in an area, confirmation can't be provided until 5–7 days ahead of time. If your provisional week is next week and you haven’t received your delivery date yet, it just means we're still working on finalising the schedule.
