How and When Is My Delivery Confirmed?
When you place an order using our Pick-a-Week delivery service, you'll be given a provisional ‘week commencing’ date. This gives you a rough idea of when your order will arrive.
However, this date is not your confirmed delivery day. Delivery may take place:
- The week before
- During the provisional week
- Or the week after, depending on logistics
Your confirmed delivery date will be provided 1-2 weeks in advance. At that point, you'll also receive an estimated time of arrival.
Can I Request an Exact Date for Delivery?
At the point of order, you can request a preferred delivery date, and we’ll do our best to accommodate it - but we cannot confirm this date until later in the process. If your building is needed by a specific deadline, please let us know as early as possible. If we’re unable to meet the requested date, we will contact you to discuss alternatives.
Will I Be Contacted to Confirm the Delivery?
Yes. We will contact you around 1-2 weeks before delivery to confirm the date and provide an estimated time. Unless the delivery date has been pre-agreed or you're happy for us to leave the goods in your absence, we’ll need to speak with you to finalise the delivery.
Can I Delay the Delivery If I Can’t Accept It?
Yes, you can delay your delivery. However, as our delivery routes are planned around full postcode areas, there may be a wait of several weeks before we can return to your area. Please let us know as soon as possible if you need to postpone.
